Sell on Veean
Bulk listing & integrations
Upload a whole catalogue as a spreadsheet rather than creating products one at a time — and export it back out whenever you need it.
What is available today
Two things, both in the seller panel on the Products page:
- Import — upload a CSV and create many products in one go, each with its variants, options, prices and stock.
- Export — download your current catalogue as a CSV. You get only your own products, never another seller’s.
Together these cover the usual job: export what you have, edit it in a spreadsheet, import it back.
Importing a catalogue
Download the template
The import drawer offers a template with the exact column headings the importer expects. Start from it rather than building a spreadsheet from scratch — the column names are the contract.
Fill in one row per variant
Rows sharing the same product handle are grouped into one product with several variants. A shirt in three sizes is three rows with the same handle and different option values.
Upload it
The file is validated before anything is created. If a row is malformed the import is rejected with the reason, and nothing is half-created.
Review and publish
Imported products arrive as drafts with stock set on your default location. Check them, then publish the ones you are ready to sell.
Getting the file right
Four rules cause almost every rejected import:
- Product handle is required. It is how rows are grouped into products. Without it the file cannot be read at all.
- Prices are in pence, in pounds only. Veean sells in GBP, so there is one price column and
1999means £19.99 — not 1,999. - Quote any field containing a comma. An unquoted comma in a description shifts every column after it, and the error you get back will point at the wrong column.
- Tags must already exist. The importer looks tags up rather than creating them. Leave the column out unless you know the tag is already there.
Exporting
Export produces a CSV of your catalogue in the same format import accepts, so a round trip works: export, edit, import.
Exports are scoped to your seller account. You will never see another seller’s products, and they will never see yours.
What is not available yet
There is no public REST API for sellers, and no plugin for Shopify, WooCommerce or an ERP. Stock and prices are not synchronised automatically from another system — a change made elsewhere reaches Veean when you import it or edit it in the panel.
A seller API and stock synchronisation are on the roadmap but are not scheduled. We would rather say that than list an endpoint you cannot call.
If an integration would decide whether Veean works for you, tell us what you need and what system you run: sellers@veean.app. That genuinely shapes what gets built first.
Bulk listing does not bypass the rules
Products created by import are subject to exactly the same rules as products created by hand. Uploading a thousand rows does not make a prohibited product acceptable, and a bulk upload of infringing listings is treated more seriously, not less.
