A UK company, a Chinese supply chain
Veean connects UK buyers directly to the manufacturers and warehouses that supply the high street — without the surprise charges that usually come with ordering from overseas.
What we do
Most of what sits on a British shelf was made somewhere else, and passed through several hands before it reached you. Veean removes the middle of that chain: you buy from the seller who made or stocks the item, at close to the price they sell it for, and it ships to you directly.
What we add is the part that usually goes wrong — the border. Import VAT, customs duty, the paperwork and the courier’s handling fee are worked out before you pay and settled by us, so a parcel arrives as a parcel rather than as a bill.
Who you are buying from
Your contract is with Veean UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. That is not a technicality. It means UK consumer law applies to your order in full, your statutory rights are enforceable against a company you can actually reach, and the VAT on your order is accounted for to HMRC by us rather than left to a seller abroad.
Under the UK’s rules for online marketplaces we are treated as the supplier for VAT purposes on the sales we facilitate. We invoice you, we remit the VAT, and we pay the seller their share afterwards.

Who sells on Veean
Sellers are businesses in mainland China — manufacturers, brand owners and established wholesalers. Each one is onboarded and identity-checked before a listing can go live, and each is paid only after the orders behind that payment have settled.
Sellers set their own prices and hold their own stock. We run the storefront, the payment, the border and the support channel — and we take a commission on each sale, which is how the platform is funded.
How we make money
One way: a commission on each sale, deducted from what we pay the seller. We do not charge you a membership fee, we do not mark up delivery to make a margin on it, and we do not sell your data.
Customers can also earn from Veean. Every account gets a referral link the day it is created, and a share of any sale that comes through it — how earning works.
Where we are
Veean is early. The app is live and the full buyer journey works today, but we are not yet in the Apple or Google stores — the app runs in your browser at app.veean.app. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.
